Head Like A Hole - TS3 Piercings Set

  • Nov. 15th, 2009 at 7:56 PM

Today I share with you my set of piercings for TS3.
There are single piercings as well as a full set. They work for both genders, teen - elder and they are semi-layerable, meaning your sim can wear a left piercing with a right, just not together with earrings.
If you use AwesomeMod you can multi-layer these with the allowmultiwear cheat.

I made these for a specific sim, but I've tested them (with AwesomeMod's CAS slider hack set to x2) and they look good on most faces. The lip rings however, will not fit sims with enormous lips.

The Single Piercing Set, includes:
-Earrings (poly: 672) - This is the "master" file which contains the textures for the other piercings, so this must be kept in the game for the others to work.
-Eyebrow rings (poly: 220)
-Nose rings (poly: 160)
-Nose studs (poly: 32)
-Lip rings (poly: 160)
-"Snakebite" (poly: 320)

Dorian's Piercings Set (poly: 1212) - This is the full set made for the boy above (called Dorian, apparently). It's standalone, which means it has its own textures. The picture to the left above is showing this set.

Thank you!
I absolutely love this set. I'd been looking for one forever that didn't look like it was painted on to the poor sim's face. Yours is the first for TS3 that I've come across that looks quite realistic.

And, I know you have mentioned it before, but have you yet found a way to get these working with earrings? It's not a big deal, but I think it would be neat to be able to use these with some false gauges I downloaded.

Anyhow, thanks for the wonderful creation!

Re: Thank you!
Glad you like it!

Sadly no one has found a way to make accessories layerable like they were in TS2 yet. I suspect that it requires some sort of core modding.

The only way I can think of is to set some of them to other categories, like gloves or socks, but that's really not a good solution.

Hopefully someone will find a way to make it possible sooner rather than later and then I'll update these if needed. :)
